Guest Bath - Tub Surround Complete

I finished installing the last of the three panels on the tub surround.  As with the rear panel, I had to add some additional framing.
The plastic sheet is gone now.
I placed the shower head up high to avoid
drilling another hole through the surround
The vertical outset to the left of the shadow in the picture above is where framing had to be added. It's 3" wide, 2 3/6" deep and 57" high.  It's purpose is to provide support for the future inclusion of a shower door if at some point myself or some future owner opted for one.  There is an equivalent outset on the rear panel which also involved framing.

Options....
Speaking of shower doors and such, I've got a several of options;

Glass sliding doors
There are a whole myriad of glass door options from the standard ones you see in average every day houses to some that run upwards in the high hundreds to low thousands.  Not sure I want to go that path.  Some would required drilling holes in the surround permanently disfiguring it.

Traditional straight shower curtain rod
Yawwwwn..........

Single curved shower rod

Curved rods are nice in that they allow for more upper body room. I installed one in the Waco house and really liked it.  It's my first choice.

Dual rod shower curtain
I like the premise but it also means messing with two separate curtains when entering the tub.

Decisions!  Decisions! EH!  I'll decide later.

In the mean time, it's back to drywalling.
